I haven't played softball for awhile, but am looking to participate for fun and with a fun team on a beer budget. Will I be welcome to anyone as a second baseman or something? I am also a young 57(gulp!) yr-old . I figure baseball is like riding a bicycle, you never forget:) Practice me and use me. I did play hardball in Jr High as a first baseman. Stickball and softball in gym and for fun:) Love the game.
