What days are each cycling event? I know I can't stay the whole week but want to try to get the time trial in!

If you have a general question about Cycling, please post the question here. How many team members are required for the team time trial?

Traditional 2 person team time trial format. Individuals start together and the final team time is when the last person crosses the line.

Are the cycling events open to participants with Hybrid bicycles? I'd like to participate in the road race but, do not have a road bike. Nor is it good for mountain biking. Thanks

If you have a general question about Cycling, please post the question here. I have never competed in a race. Is there a road race for single riders and what is the mileage and route?

Are "funny bikes" allowed in the time trial? (I've got a 26"/650 in the front with regular 700C in the back.) It's been a long time since I've paid attention to the current UCI/USCF/USA Cycling rules.
Also, are riders with regular USA Cycling licenses considered licensed or unlicensed?
Any chance you'll add a track event since there's that new velodrome in Cleveland?
Thanks

Below are your answers from the sports director.
"Any bike is allowed in the time trial. This race is not sanctioned so we will not need to follow USAC rules. People with active USAC licenses will be put in the license category but since we are usac sanctioned they will not receive any upgrade points.
No track event--- we could have done that--- but too late now."
Look forward to seeing you at the Games!

Traditional 2 person team time trial format. Individuals start together and the final team time is when the last person crosses the line. I was told last October by the Sports Director that the Team Time Trial was a 3 person. Can you verify?

The Competition Specifics page specifies the following: "A "Licensed Racer" is an individual who has been issued an International Racing License by that Individual's national cycling federation." Please please PLEASE clarify this rule asap - the time/distance differences are huge and will seriously affect training if we are forced to race Licensed even though we don't have an International license!

I am looking for a rental bike since I cannot take my own bike to Cleveland. Coming from Europe it is too cumbersome to take my own bike with me. Does anyone know a good bike shop in the Cleveland area that lends road bikes? Thank you very much for your help.
